Freelance front-end engineer Belgium · Remote
I help product teams turn knotty requirements into fast, thoughtful interfaces—without the agency relay race.
One senior pair of hands.
No account layers.
What you get 02
You don’t need more meetings.
You need someone who can understand the problem, shape the interface and build the thing.
Ways I help 03
Design sense. Engineering depth.
Turn sprawling workflows and dense requirements into an interface people can move through with confidence.
Production-ready interfaces with the responsiveness, accessibility and code quality the mockup doesn’t show.
Give teams a shared language and reusable foundations so each new feature gets easier—not harder—to ship.
The small print 04

How I work 05
Small loops. Visible progress.
We find the real constraint, define “done” and make sure I’m the right fit before we go deep.
Listen · question · frameI work in short, concrete loops. You see the decisions in the interface—not buried in a weekly status deck.
Prototype · build · shareThe result should work now and remain understandable to the people maintaining it after I leave.
Refine · document · hand overA bit about me 06
I’m Alexander, a front-end engineer from Belgium. I’ve spent more than a decade making complex digital products easier to understand and nicer to use.
I care about the unglamorous things that make good work last: clear thinking, useful feedback, accessible details and code the next person won’t curse at.
Outside the browser, I’m usually testing a mechanical keyboard, swimming a few laps, going for a run or getting lost in a game.
